Joining a club does not mean you have to take part in all the events or do any work. We need members to prove to the Goverment that we are an organized sport. With around 40,000 bikes registered in the province and only 9% of that belong to clubs, it does not go far when you want the Goverment to listen. By joining a club its showing support, some people join by mail and we never see them and others come to all the meetings. It is up to you how much you want to do. Next time your out riding, remember that there was a group of volunteers that made that trail and without them it would not exist.
